Dave began his career with Procter & Gamble in Canada and spent several years in consumer goods marketing there, including as National Brand Manager for Doritos at Frito Lay. After completing his MBA in Finance and Operations Management at Columbia Business School, he joined CSC Index in the IT Strategy and Chemicals & Energy practice areas. He has also been a Director at KPMG Advisory and Archstone Consulting.
His approach with clients is to quickly understand the changes that will help them the most, then to collaboratively plan and rapidly deliver those changes. Examples include:
- Building and implementing new operating models (roles and structure, processes and supporting technology) at clients in life sciences, banking, electric utilities and consumer goods
- Qualifying manufacturing plants to make medical devices
- Writing business requirements, identifying possible solutions, managing RFPs, selecting and implementing large software applications
- Developing and managing multi-year cost reduction programs for clients in OTC and insurance
- Leading a joint venture to build a $15 million drug packaging plant within an existing OTC manufacturing plant
- Developing a turnaround strategy for manufacturing and distribution at a personal products client with six plants in North America and Europe
Dave moved to South Florida in 2015 and enjoys the intensive training needed to compete in at least three aquabike races each year, along with the occasional game of golf.
In nearly 20 years in management consulting and program management, Dave has earned a reputation as a valued leader and collaborator – someone who can engage with clients to organize and complete complex, difficult projects, but somehow keep everyone smiling and enjoying themselves throughout.
